How to Create an AuraSync Group

AuraSync lets you link up to 8 Aura Ambient Floor Lamps with 1 Aura TV Backlight and match the colors while it is in Video Sync mode. This creates the ultimate immersive lighting experience across your Aura lights.

Before You Begin

Make sure:

• Your Aura TV Backlight is already set up in the Aura Labs app.
• Your Aura Ambient Floor Lamp or lamps are already set up in the app.
• The devices you want to sync are powered on and connected.
  

How to Create an AuraSync Group

1. Open the Aura Labs app.
2. Tap the + button in the top-right corner.
3. Tap "Add AuraSync Group".
4. Select the Aura TV Backlight you want to use as the main device.
5. Select the Aura Ambient Floor Lamps you want to sync with the TV Backlight.
6. Choose each floor lamp’s position relative to the TV Backlight, such as left side or right side.
7. Name your AuraSync group.
8. Save the group.
9. To find your AuraSync group, go to the "Group Control" tab.
   

Important Notes

Custom scenes

Custom scenes created on the Aura TV Backlight will appear in the AuraSync group. However, custom scenes created for Aura Ambient Floor Lamp will not show in the AuraSync group.

Entering individual device pages

Opening an individual product page for a device inside an AuraSync group will break the active sync. To start AuraSync again, return to the AuraSync group in the app. You can leave the group and control other devices that are not in the AuraSync group or leave the app and the AuraSync will remain active.

Expected Result

Once your AuraSync group is created, your selected Aura Ambient Floor Lamps will match the colors from your Aura TV Backlight while Video Sync mode is active or will match the colors and scenes selected in the Aura TV Backlight product page.

Troubleshooting

I do not see my TV Backlight as an option

Make sure your Aura TV Backlight is powered on, connected to the app, and already set up.

I do not see my Floor Lamp as an option

Make sure the floor lamp is powered on and connected to the Aura Labs app and not being used in a different AuraSync group. If the issue persist, set up the Floor Lamp again and then attempt adding it to the AuraSync group.

AuraSync stopped working

If you opened an individual product page of a product in the AuraSync group, return to the AuraSync group in the app to enable AuraSync group functionality again.
